The Fall Back

Hey Readers, I am excited to update you on some exciting music news! Remember Bridge 19? They just released an album titled "The Fall Back" and had a few release shows to celebrate and promote!

In Bridge 19's first official duo release, "The Fall Back", we get all the familiar qualities we are used to hearing from Bridge 19; the harmonies of course, spirited melodies paired with intense lyrics, agile guitar and layers of instrumentation. But there's a new feeling that comes with this studio release; the feeling that the duo went "all in" emotionally. With songs that expose the twisted, the angry, the desperate, and the paranoid; Bridge 19 created an album that transcends genre. Just when you think you have a singer-songwriter album, you get hints of pop, rock, folk, and even blues and country. Bridge 19 and their stellar band featuring guitarist and co-producer Ric Hordinski (Over the Rhine, David Wilcox, Phil Keaggy), David LaBruyere (John Mayer), and Josh Suerkamp really make these songs speak to the listener, matching melodies and soundscapes to the lyrics that expose passionate writers. With a robust roster of 13 songs, there is something for everyone on "The Fall Back"!

I had the opportunity to make a trip back home to Lexington, Kentucky to attend 1 of their 3 CD release shows. It was such a great night! Bridge 19 packed Natasha's Bistro with friends, family, and even more fans. They brought along another Louisville band, A Lion Named Roar, to start off the evening. Bridge 19 played every song on their new album, "The Fall Back". Of which included: Lowdown, Lie, Nothing Left, Waiting, Light of Day, Back to Me, Bring Me Back, Wrecking Ball, One at a Time, Addiction, Leave, Cabin Song, and Match Made in Hell. It was beyond exciting to finally hear the new songs we had all been waiting for. I was happy to be apart of such a great night and to have had the chance to work with such a great band. I couldn't be more proud of them for coming this far, and I know they have only just begun! Do me a favor and go purchase "The Fall Back", you won't be disappointed! It is available on ITunes as well as CD Baby (http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/bridge19). Here are a few pictures snapped from the show.
